We watched a special program on tv tonight that highlighted memorable short documentaries on sports and other unique activities.
Most memorable was an ice fishing contest in Minnesota.
The temperature on the ice was -26 degrees.
One fifty something angler had been competing for 25 years in a row.
There was a significant amount of drinking that helped people stay warm and pass the time.
Nine out of ten fishermen never catch a fish.
Oh…back to the fella in his fifties…in 25 years, he has yet to catch a fish.
And Sally thinks I’m nuts when the river humbles me time and again.
