For the love of hoops

A very young cowboy was on a long walk today when a youngster shooting hoops caught my eye.

‘He’s really good,’ I said to Sally.

I wandered over to see if the boy was in high school yet.

‘Next year,’ he said.

Let me just say that the coach at Mullen will be delighted when AH steps on campus. I predict he’ll be six foot five as a senior and one tough hombre.

Hope he remembers the shooting tips today delivered second hand from the famous Walter Davis and Michael Jordan.
