“Good teachers make teaching look easy.
Bad ones approach it look like they are haphazardly dissecting a cat.
They address every single movement possible and by the time they’re done they’ve taken apart the entire cat.
There’s blood and guts everywhere, but where is the cat? Every person comes to the teacher with his own distinctive game and it’s up to the teacher to improve on what the student has, not build a new game from the ground up.
I’ll always believe that teaching is an art.
Good instructors measure the person’s intellect, athleticism, experience, and talent before they say anything.
Then they tailor the lessons to the individual.
Just as every person draws the letter “A” a little differently, each person needs a different program, a time frame for improving, and a method for getting the message.”
