A great friend has a rewarding vocation in which he tries to enrich people’s lives by finding them new homes at a fair price.
This gentleman is a very resilient character similar to the hardy folks in the 1840’s heading west and confronting every hurdle imaginable.
No, our friend does not come face to face with mountain lions, 2,000 pound buffaloes, or rattlesnakes.
However, he does receive 5:30 a.m. phone calls from panicked clients.
The call above was thirty-five minutes in length in the hopes this extremely patient new father could address a serious rodent problem…not in the house the client just purchased, but in the person’s former house.
Perhaps, those early pioneers were fortunate in a way and that it was a blessing not to have cell phones or basements where pesky little critters could incite fragile people to interrupt their morning.
