I finished reading your story last night and kudos to you. You are a terrific writer loaded with spirit.
Yesterday, as I read about Jonathan Cantor and you, another coach walked into our pro’s office and we spoke about your book.
She, having lost both sons to the drug world and my wife and me with a 34 year old daughter now lucky to be given drug court rather than another stint in jail.
Thank you sir. The temptation to ‘bail’ ,as you wrote about your parents, is very real. I will be calling our daughter today after recent events had moved us further apart. Your ‘more than a table’ story about the separation you experienced grabbed me and hasn’t let go.
I’m praying that a couple of your miracle makers…Gayle and Coach Patton, are still in your life and remain cheering you on as always.
