C’mon Lavar. Let’s get real. Everyone will soon forget that one of your sons was arrested in China for shoplifting. He’ll learn from this and move on. What’s more concerning is how you are making the family the baller version of The Kardashians.
Please retract this statement as soon as possible.
“He’s going to be better than Steph Curry,” Ball said, according to TMZ. “Steph Curry’s really good, but my son is young, he’s got time to go. And you only consider him good because he won a couple of championships. What if he didn’t win no championships? He made some shots at the right time. But he’s not as young as my boy.”
We’ve seen Lonzo with the Lakers and he is a pretty decent passer. But let’s be serious. That shot…Ooops, that shot that makes Charles Barkley’s golf swing look like Davis Love’s…yeppers…that shot that looks like he grew up taking daily lessons from Joakim Noah.
Most basketball fans would give anything to sit in a room with Larry Bird (arguably the purest shooter ever) and watch his expressions as Lonzo loads up that shot that’s so superior to Steph’s. Btw…try googling Larry Bird scores 60 against Atlanta if you have some spare time. And…as long as we’re talking reality, Lonzo is not even in Bird’s league when it comes to passing. Lonzo’s decent where Bird, Wall, and Jokic were/are out of this world.
The coaches in The NBA are pretty smart. It took them two minutes of watching film to ask this question…’how on earth could Lonzo find the rim if we make him go to his right.’
Thanks for the laughs, Mr. Kardasian.
