The sweet path

By Mike Hall, November 8, 2022

‘If we are going to be fearful of anything, it should be the fear of coming to the end of our lives and thinking…’what if? or if only.

We should not be afraid that we tried something, and it did not happen. Success is getting up one more time. It’s falling forward. Falling builds strength and integrity in us.

The issue is not falling;  it’s how we respond when we do, because we will fall.’

Kathie Lee Gifford and Rabbi Jason Strobel from The God of The Way

**  Reading this this morning, I pictured the mogul skiers competing in The Olympics. How many times they have fallen (forward) and risen again trying to find that sweet path between those threatening moguls.

We too, encounter moguls each and every day. May we face them like the Olympians who realize that the journey to the sweet path is full of bumps, bruises, and opportunities to grow.
