Bill Sumiel was in much more than a spot of bother.
The 71 year old was on dialysis with severe kidney disease.
He needed an Uber ride to get to the hospital for treatment and was picked up by Army veteran Tim Letts.
Mr. Sumiel shared his story and the two became instant friends.
Letts eventually told Sumiel that he had a kidney that he’d like to donate to the ailing gentleman.
Fast forward and the operation was a success and Bill Sumiel surely believes it was divine intervention that directed Tim Letts to his doorstep.
