This morning I was in the checkout line at Kings Soopers.
The checker was a very personable woman and evidence of that was when she called the three people ahead of me ‘Hon’ on multiple occasions.
Now, I’m not much of a ‘Hon’ guy so, when it was my turn, I leaned towards her while presenting my KS card and said…’would you be so kind to call me Cowboy instead of ‘Hon’?
’That will be $65.02, Cowboy unless you need bags…you didn’t leave ‘em in your saddlebags did ya’?
