It’s time.
After today’s most recent implosion by the bullpen, it’s rumored that the Colorado Rockies relief pitchers will now only pitch batting practice before games.
The fact that they have been pitching bp in the late innings when they are supposed to be securing wins have made them absolutely painful to watch.
The 13-12 loss today and their giveaway loss yesterday vs. the woeful Texas Rangers must have all star position players like Nolan Arenado talking with their agents about futures far removed from the debacles endured at Coors Field.
A reliever who will go unnamed was signed to a three year $27 million dollar contract this year. The only trouble is that he could not get my cousin Edith out.
Oh well…summer is still delightful in Colorado even if our bullpen is a mess.
