The woman looked bewildered as it was apparent that she’d forgotten where she had parked her car.
I mentioned to her that elders in Florida put a tennis ball or bright ribbon on their antenna and she reminded me that cars don’t have antennae and haven’t for years.
As I was leaving the lot, I noticed she was about to get into her vehicle. Opening my window, I congratulated her on her find thinking to myself that these older folks must face this challenge multiple times a week.
Later that day, I returned to the gym for some cardio work. Exiting the club after a good workout, I faced the same dilemma and walked around for five minutes until locating my car.
I was glad there weren’t any twenty something’s around to laugh at this not young any longer cowboy.
