Hold on

The pilot announced that we would have a bumpy ride soon after takeoff. He said to remain seated with seat belts fastened…..that we’d eventually break through the turbulence and see the sun. How right he was.

We were tossed about like a pair of shorts in mama’s dryer.

People held on to each other and many prayed. Eventually, we climbed above the bank of clouds and saw the sun shining in the distance.

There was a life lesson learned that day. Each life has times of turbulence when you just have to hold on to the belief that you can weather the bumps and emerge victorious.
