The Hero Challenge Golf Tournament concluded today. Eighteen of the world’s best players were making birdies look as easy as picking cherries fro a tree. On Saturday, eventual winner Bubba Watson was overheard saying that his body just wouldn’t cooperate to allow him to produce his normal shots. After hearing this for the third time, I wondered if he might need medical or chiropractic care. Well….he shot nine under par on Saturday…..six under on Sunday……and twent-five under par for the tournament. How on earth can you feel iffy and play like this? When my buddies and I feel out of sorts, our swings get so short and choppy that we could perform them in a telephone booth. Enjoy it now, Bubba…..the glory days won’t last forever.
