A very young cowboy is midway through a book about the 33 miners in Chile who were trapped for nearly ten weeks before being miraculously rescued.

One miner spoke of ‘the 34th. miner, my little compadre.’

‘The thirty-fourth miner is the soul of every miner who’s ever toiled, the spirit of the God who protects them.’

Maybe we should have such faith…, that in the midst of this pandemic, we’re being looked after until being rescued from these troubling times.
