The catcher on our Mesa College baseball team was an older gentleman by the name of Bob Engle.
He had spent some time in the military we learned and was 25 years old when playing junior college ball.
Third baseman Al Torre nicknamed Bob ‘The Fossil’.
With Joke Biden announcing today that he plans to run again…and the orange haired ego man threatening the same…we’ll conceivably be faced with two fossils in 2024.
Say it isn’t so…a country this remarkable forced to choose between these two old coots.
Bob Engle was the leader of our team…a fella filled with integrity and class.
Too bad neither of the fossils noted above could lead like Mr. Engle.
