John folded a note and placed it in Billy’s lunch sack. He didn’t know if he would notice it or if it would have any effect. Hope is eternal. When John returned from work later that day, there was no room for doubt. He knew. Billy said that he loved the note and the message was perfect. It was short and to the point.
