Registration is now underway for the 15th. Annual Komodo Dragon Race on the island of Flores in southeastern Indonesia. The race is June 1st. and is a bit similar to the running with the bulls event held each year in Spain.
The entry fee is $250.00 and participants must sign a liability waiver before entering. Last year’s winner in the women’s division said she was amazed at her speed once the adrenaline kicked in.
Family discounts are available until May 1st. and race officials strongly recommend that children under the age of seven ride on their parents’ shoulders.
