Denver Nuggets

The Denver Nuggets are searching.

They have lost their marbles and need help in finding them.

They recently signed 32 year old Paul Millsap to a three year $90,000,000 contract.

That works out to around $366,000 per game.

Take it a bit further and it’s $9,150 per minute assuming he stays healthy and plays forty minutes per game.

This is not Larry Bird we are talking about.

Not even close.

I have nothing against Mr. Millsap.

He’s probably a bit better than the average Juwan Howard who the Nuggets laughingly paid $245,000 per game a number of years ago.

He laughed all the way to the bank just like Millsap will.

But, c’mon.

Truly, they have lost their marbles.

Btw…Larry Bird made $26 million in his career and Michael Jordan netted $93 million and won six NBA titles. They were the two elite players of their generation.

Millsap will come and go after three years and no one will ever use his name in the same sentence with the great players above.

No wonder that the average Denver resident cares little for The Nuggets and NBA basketball.
