A very young man was heading west on Otero St. after a terrific hour of tennis. He had seen the snow on the mountains west of Denver earlier and they looked magnificent.
Crossing Holly St., the mountains caught his eye again. This time, however, he felt as if he’d been airlifted to the Himalayas in Nepal. The clouds had formed a blue, inverted V that made it appear that the Rockies were thousands of feet higher.
How lucky we are to have these beautiful mountains so nearby….they are truly a treasure in the sky.
