Rachel has said this is her favorite picture of Mark. He was born on February 3rd.,1976 and has been the light of her life. Mark is the oldest of three boys who all excelled in football in their youth. He was All-State and earned a scholarship to play quarterback at The university of Texas. Rachel says that Mark had at least eight broken bones during his football career but she’s ok with that now. He became fascinated with the work of the doctors who repaired his injuries and is now a respected orthopedic surgeon in Austin. Today he and his wife will join his parents and siblings in Vail for a fortieth birthday celebration and a week of skiing. Rachel can hardly believe how quickly the time has passed since this picture was taken thirty- four years ago. Her advice….enjoy every minute with these youngsters while you can as they’ll be off on their own before you know it.
