Madison and a very young cowboy were amazed this summer. One of the sudden storms swept over the mountains west of Denver and in minutes lighting was crackling all around. A men’s doubles league was just starting their match and we called them off the court for shelter. Two teams heeded the advice and four others continued playing. Madison finally blew a whistle as it became increasingly dangerous. The men (fools) still played on. A second whistle and they reluctantly exited the court. Surely, storms and earthquakes are a call to action…….wise are they that read the signs and change course.
