It was a very exciting day on the river yesterday.
One might have thought Cirque du Soleil was conducting auditions for a wildlife show.
An Osprey was flying overhead doing aerial acrobatics like a seasoned stunt pilot and a 17 inch brown trout went flying through the air for a tasty morsel…or perhaps for just a bit of exercise.
Unfortunately, the trout paid no attention to my size 20 Parachute Adams dry fly.
Oh well, life is grand!
