Wonder

It occurred to me this morning that it’s rather lame to say ‘have a great day,’ to someone.

Invariably, the words go in one ear and out the other.

They’ve been said so frequently that they no longer resonate.

You could say ‘have a wonderful day,’ but still the phrase has no staying power.

My intuition spoke to me this morning and the voice whispered….’why don’t you try this…look into someone’s eyes and say, ‘it was a treat to see you…I hope you fill your day with wonder!’

Then perhaps, they’ll pass a flower like this one and take time to savor the wonder that is all around us.
