I tuned in when the score was 2-2 in the third set. She went down love – 40 on her serve and things looked very dicey.
Unfazed, she fought back to deuce and ending up winning that crucial game. Down 15-40 in the following game, she rallied to win it as well.
I think I saw her miss one…maybe two shots in the last 20 minutes of the match…what a spirited performance!
We can’t wait to see her in Indian Wells in six weeks and fingers are crossed that she’ll come up against Coco, Bianca, Ashleigh or Garbine again.
