Today, as usual, I trekked to the gym for a strength workout.

I normally shoot a few free throws to break up the routine and this time I dribbled out to where I imagined Caitlin Clark’s recent record breaking shot was taken.

If you didn’t know, it was another shot of hers from the logo and it was 35 feet.

Staring at the hoop from that distance one just thinks…”are you serious”.

Here’s the thing…here’s how great this young lady is.  She, her coaches, and her teammates knew she’d launching a logo ball and none of them or any of the fans in attendance thought the ball would find anything but the bottom of the net.

I’m at a loss in trying to recall a crowd reaction in basketball that rivals this one.
