A very young cowboy was reading a book last week and came across a word used very infrequently.
Maybe you’ve heard it but rarely, if ever, use it.
The word is tethered.
It caused me to picture that fun, backyard game we played growing up in Prairie Village, Kansas. Did you play tether ball too?
While working out this morning, the word came to me again.
It made me consider what, during this trying pandemic, we are all tethered to.
I thought of a number of options…
Faith in God
Devotion to family
Close and lasting friendships
Doctors and science
A favorite sport or hobby
Music
Meditation
Here’s hoping that you remain tethered to what matters most.
