This is a notice to Colorado chefs, cooks, and friends that we will be forming teams to compete in The World Championship Squirrel Cook Off held annually in Bentonville, Arkansas. The event is held in September and we will charter a flight for sixty squirrel lovers. A local airline has agreed to paint a squirrel (Rocky) on its tail for the flight and serve squirrel and cheese sandwiches on the flight. If you or friends love cooked squirrel then this will be a can’t miss event for you. More details about the cost and date will be available soon. Start today by looking through your recipes and you might win up to $500.00. Creative dishes of the past have included squirrel gumbo, limb chicken, squirrel pizza and countless others. Please advise if you want to order an event hat with a squirrel tail as they go very quickly. Looking forward to seeing you on the plane for this special event! By the way, the desserts are spectacular with squirrel ice cream and squirrel tail mousse fan favorites.
