If I have learned nothing else thus far…I have learned how to appreciate the little things. And what is existence except a grand conglomeration of little things? We don’t even realize our reliance on them, how much we take them for granted, until we are without them. It takes loss and privation for us to discover the value of something or someone. This is the strange nature of humans.
