Over the years, there have been thousands of incidents where mail carriers/postal workers have been attacked by dogs.
Fast forward to today and, since 2020, there have been over 2,000 attacks by dogs who were originally born as humans.
Statistics compiled show that only 16% of these ‘canines’ have been prosecuted.
Here’s hoping there’s a lawmaker in Washington with the cojones to enact a law that could solve the problem.
The bill does not have to be lengthy…just to the point.
If you are convicted of assaulting a postal worker, the mandatory sentence is life in prison where you’re likely to receive a similar treatment to what got you convicted.
