A very young man once believed a foolish idea. He thought that, if he was attacked by a mountain lion while fishing, he could summon the strength via adrenaline to give the lion an uppercut to the jaw….that the force of the punch would disable the poor predator. This was before the youngster saw a video online of a cougar taking down a large deer in seconds. There are no more foolish notions today. It is believed that there are between 1,500 and 3,000 lions in Colorado and this youngster fears every one of them.
