The word glee is rarely used anymore and maybe we just don’t experience it enough these days.
It means great delight…pleasure…happiness, joy, and euphoria. You know, the feeling shared by all Chicago Cubs fans after they won The World Series last fall.
It seems that we lose a sense of glee as we age. Not all of us as surely there’s a fortunate few that cling to their playful, childlike selves.
Perhaps we should take notice of kids and try to emulate their joy in the simple things and the glee that they carry with them day to day.
When was the last time you felt the joy emanating from this three year old boy?
