A 12 year old boy in the sectional tournament was instructed to exit the tennis court with his opponent because rain had made the surface dangerous. Kevin said the pampered little tyrant was berating the official who had made the right call in stopping the match. One wonders why the parents didn’t intervene when the player was so out of line. I imagined what the famous actor John Wayne might have done had he been the drama king’s dad. Yep….there’d have been a size 12 cowboy boot slamming against the right buttock in no time at all. It probably would have solved the issue so no future official or opponent would have to deal with this again.
