Kudos to Serena Williams for winning The Australian Open singles title and surpassing Steffi Graf’s all time major record. Congratulations to Venus for storming her way to the final by winning six matches at age 36. Amazing!
On the men’s side, I hope you were able to see Roger and Rafa on Sunday. It was a classic. Five sets and Roger is down 1-3 in the fifth. Somehow he comes back to win the match and you have to think that former stars like Sampras, Connors, King, and Laver must have said to themselves…’I don’t believe what I just saw.’
One of the announcers said it well,’Roger just out Rafa’d Rafa!’
