A low blow

I opted out of a fishing trip today to watch the memorial service for #41….George H.W. Bush.

It was a good choice as it was a very moving ceremony.

I was all decked out in my favorite blue and white fishing shirt and the car was packed to the hilt.

A bit later, Sally asked if I might accompany her to the car wash.

Being a very loyal husband, I agreed.

Once in the car I commented that I chose this shirt due to the stealth factor…as the colors perfectly matched the sky today and the trout would be less likely to notice me.

Without hesitation, Sally said that ‘if you really were concerned about stealth…you’d have dyed your nose hairs too.’

You see what us cowboys have to put up with.
