Eureka!

By Mike Hall, August 12, 2018

A cry of joy or satisfaction when one finds or discovers something.

A very young cowboy is guessing that in the last twelve months most people have never uttered the word eureka.

It is not because they’ve not had memorable…eureka moments, it’s just that the word has fallen out of favor.

So…I’m calling on all patriotic Americans to make an effort to resurrect this word.

When:  you score a birdie, eagle, or hole in one,

your son lands the ideal job,

the in laws call to say they can’t visit this summer,

your daughter hits a walk off home run against the team’s closest rival,

the doctor calls to say the tumor is benign,

the Mrs. cooks your favorite surf and turf dinner,

the 17 inch rainbow jumps two feet in the air and your pulse elevates with it,

you learn that Congress has begun to work together.

C’mon America…there’s so many things to celebrate day to day and this is the perfect word to express your appreciation.

EUREKA!
