NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Troy Aikman was being interviewed by Joe Buck on TV last night.
He said that his college coach Terry Donohue used a quote that has stuck with him for decades.
‘Things are never as bad as they seem and they are never really as great as they seem either.’
When a very young cowboy accidentally broke the tip of his fly rod today, he was glad that the quote came to mind too. Ok…so no fish this day but there will be others.
