A young cowboy grew up in Kansas City and moved to Colorado in 1965. The mountains didn’t appear to be that high as we headed west from Limon and soon saw them in the distance. It was later that summer when we road the tram in Estes Park that we had to admit that these Rocky Mountains truly are majestic.
