A very young cowboy decided to take piano lessons at age thirty-seven. He bought a used piano and practiced religiously much to the chagrin of his less than patient wife. Maybe switching teachers would help the youngster progress faster. Good thought….but JoAnn was just as perplexed as Doris, his first instructor. The coincidence of their rather frank assessment haunts the poor boy to this day. Both teachers eventually asked a rather insensitive question. ‘Mike…did you ever think about trying bowling?’ Ouch!!!
