The sun never sets on a dream
It may be obscured by a cloud or storm
but the sun never sets on a dream
Quietly it slips behind an old oak tree
yet the sun never sets on a dream
It passes beneath the horizon and seems
to dip into the sea….still the sun never sets on a dream
if the dream is meant to be
Each morning it arrives to signal….
like a friend who calls to say
That the sun never sets on a dream
if you let Him light the way
