Sixty minutes replayed a story after The Broncos win today. It was about The Make a Wish Foundation and its efforts to grant wishes to kids facing serious illnesses. Particularly moving was the feature on young Kaden Erickson whose dream was to visit Australia. His wish came true and was the highlight of his life. Kaden’s cancer returned for the third time and eventually took his life. The founders of the program were questioned about their kids. “Make a Wish children teach us that what we think is traumatic is really pretty small.”
