Linda chose to stand to the side as Alexis was introduced. At age eleven, this was her first recital since starting piano lessons ten months ago. Her mom realized early on that the child had a gift. What impressed her most however, was her daughter’s commitment to practice faithfully in between lessons. There was a look of delight and confidence every time Alexis sat down to play. This evening was no different. It was if she had been playing for years and the parents and other students clapped enthusiastically as she played the final note. A sense of pride rose up in Linda and warmed her heart.
This would be a night to celebrate at The Cheesecake Factory and a memory they would remember always.
