Well…with a gentle nudge from a great friend, I’m thirty days into a toxic cleanse from listening to or watching news shows.
I’ve coined a phrase to describe all of them whether left or right….Agitation Stations.
What have I noticed in this first month…a much less congested brain now freed up to consider more productive and positive thoughts. Secondly, and equally important, is a heightened appreciation for music that inspires.
So now, whilst driving the car, it’s an easy choice to make between toxic talking heads and inspiring songs.
As the musician Train would say…’Play that Song.’
