It’s Thursday, November 20th. and Berkeley is having a very rough week. Please pray for health.
Ok….you might have seen the incredible World Series victory by the opportunistic Kansas City Royals…..and you might be inclined to label them as heroes. Sixty-five miles west of Kansas City is the town of Topeka and there is a young girl there who is my hero. She’s beating childhood leukemia and to say she’s had quite a ride is an understatement. The Princess Warrior is Berkeley Kemper and her will to win is beyond description…..that’s right….there are hardly words available to describe her spirit and dogged determination to be victorious. Berkeley has persevered through 743 days of treatment and 18 spinal taps and her infectious smile lights up the world. Thousands of people have been praying for The Princess every day and surely those prayers will be answered. You go Berkeley! May you have a most amazing Thanksgiving and the best Christmas of all time. Love and Hugs to you from Colorado!!
