A good friend and her husband have volunteered for years at a hospice center in south Denver. The wife has recently begun donating her time at Children’s Hospital. She sits and rocks babies who are being treated for cancer and other illnesses.
Those moments with the little ones must be some of the most rewarding minutes of her week. Surely, there is a great sense of peace for her and the kiddos.
There must be cheers in heaven whenever she cradles infants…..and a smile makes it all worthwhile.
