Epiphany

By Mike Hall, February 11, 2016

Every now and then is a picture that appears to be alive.

You close your eyes and might hear the gentle lapping of the waves on the sand.

Reflexively, you slow down and pay closer attention.

Somewhere in your soul comes the realization that you weren’t meant to live your life in overdrive.

Off with the sandals and another reminder as a lone seagull floats lazily above the water.

Maybe six more days of this will convince you that slowing down is the better path.
