A Key to your best tennis

Jimmy Arias was commentating on a terrific match between Sinner and Medvedev this morning.

The younger Sinner had somehow won the first set tiebreaker even while having four net felonies when going over the high part of the net,

Back to Arias…he said that Medvedev was in ‘lock down mode where he refuses to miss’.

I wonder how club level players would fare if they could get into lock down mode where they refuse to give points away carelessly?

Kudos to Sinner…he’s taken a page out of Carlos A’s game and is mixing in devious and disruptive drop shots to supplement his terrific power.

So…there are multiple keys to playing your best tennis and one of them ought to be the ability like Medvedev…to go into lock down mode and refuse to miss.
